Every year, the Emergency Preparedness Fair at City Square Shopping Centre gives you an opportunity to learn more on how you and your family can be prepared in case of a natural disaster and to buy survival kits from our local vendors.

Lion Dance
On Saturday, February 20, 2010 The Lion Dance visited the Food Court, Lower and Upper Shops at City Square to celebrate the Year of the Tiger.
The Lion Dance was performed by Shaolin Hung Gar Kung Fu Association. The Lion visited several retailers by dancing through their premises to bring good luck and prosperity for the new year!

2009 Events
Christmas at City Square Shopping Centre!
The City Square 2009 Holiday Fair ran from November 12 till December 24:
Gift wrapping was available from Dec. 14 to Dec. 24. All proceeds went to Canadian Mental Health Association.
Santa made a guest appearance here at City Square on Saturday Dec 6th for kids and Sunday Dec 7th for pets
The photos were free, with a suggested donation of $3 per photo. We managed to raise $265 for BC Children's Hospital Foundation and $255 for the BC SPCA!
A special thank you to Kin's Farm Market for donating activity books and mandarin oranges and Woofles and Meowz in Granville Island for donating freshly baked dog cookies and special treats for cats!
